I would probably be thinking the insurance route if I could, but having made a few claims for things in the road, I've realized that it's collision if you hit it even if it's not supposed to be in the road, unless it was a nonvehicle that hit your car instead of you hitting it (think flying hubcap or wheel coming at you...that's comprehensive).

...while assuming the vents go the same way as the slots on these rotors you'd be right, the directional vents inside the rotors could be spinning the right way. The right way would be for air at the hub to thrown outward through the vents as the wheel spins.
