on the highway in Park City. It was an old fart who could barely see over the wheel, didn't even look over at me...must have been here for Sundance. Nice car, but what a waste.

Default Got one better for you...

I saw some old broad driving one here is Scottsdale. She was sitting about 2 inches from the steering wheel. I did a double take and at first thought is was a 4.2 wide body type, but nooooo some rich guy plunked down 85 large so his wife could get her nails done with 450 hp under the hood. There has to be a law against that.

Default Thank your lucky stars

It is his (or more likely, her) money. He or she earned it and he or she can enjoy it any way they damned well please.

It is the same with Porsche by the way. 99% of the cars are bought by people who just want the idea of driving around in a nice looking sports car. In Europe, I'm always passing these people trundling along in the slow lane or going slow through some mountain pass. That's cool. I don't say that they *must* drive fast.

And by the way, if it wasn't for these 99% buying all of the cars, then there is no way that Porsche would (or could) make the 1% for the enthusiasts. I'm sure the situation is the same for Audi and their performance cars.

So count your lucky stars that she was there trunding along on her way to do her nails. She is doing all of us a big favour with her (or his) money.

Default Oh yeah....

Well its not just us old farts. I drove past the local high school...yes I said HIGH SCHOOL and there in the STUDENT parking lot was a brand new gray RS6!! Some spoiled brat whined to mommy and daddy and scored!

This is a tech. magnet school so you make the connection between certain parents and their kids. BTW its in Orange County CA.

Even if someday I could afford that amount for a car for my kids I'd never give it to them. Maybe a '72 Z car(my first) or something but never anything like that.
