Random question
Todd posted his 11.9 slip up a while back from his Audi S4. Does anyone know the fastest Subaru WRX quarter mile time? From a comparitable street WRX, not some track only quarter mile monster. Thanks.

trannys are glass. a real big issue for the rex. i loved mine....
and i just read a 12 flat i think over at i-club (still a moderator there)
great car, crappy quality personally. and with that ort of power, the motor will go about 40-50k only. after that, the compression goes to crap. BUT the motors are cheep, so it is kinda a moot point.

Well I just made an offhand flippant comment on another website to a would be monster 928 builder. Basically the issue was one of traction, I pointed out that all the hp in the world doesn't help if you can't put it down and some fool in a WRX can hand you your ***. I said this of course without really knowing what a WRX can actually do.
