Default I'm guessing your SS is a late 97' or older...

Around late 96' an engineer from Cadilac
joined the chevy ranks (I can't remember
his name...dammit) and fixed a lot of
chassis problems with the Vette, Camaro/Firebird,
etc.

Admittedly any A4 built between 95 to late 97
had a tiny bit of chassis flex, hence the update
in 98. Like I said, no company is perfect

By all means, I'm not dissing American cars...
I have a 69' Dodge Hemi Charger with a little
over 39,000 miles!!! =) And I love
Grand Nationals and the new Z06 Vette...
(They just gotta get rid of the old school
leaf-springs!)

I've heard from numerous S4/A4 owners that
the chassis stiffens considerably when changing
the suspension components. Why I don't know.

Enjoy what you have =)

Yes. Have rattles. Dealer has yet to be able to fix.

Yet none of my Subarus, nor my Acura Legend, ever had rattles or squeeks.
