RE resale values - maybe the sky is not falling. I'm perusing the Autoweek classifieds (where
sellers are notoriously optimistic on their asking prices) and I come across a '02 CLK32 with 16k miles and all options except NAV. IIRC this car would have stickered for about $55k - $56k? The asking price . . . $40k. Given that the sticker for a comparably equiped S4 would have been $41.9k, and an S4 with that low of mileage would probably sell for $30k or more, it looks like we are doing well with both taking about a 28% hit. Odd thing is I think SLK32 resale prices are doing MUCH better than the C32.
