Default I'm on my second set... 13000 miles total

the first set only lasted 3k miles due to excessive track use Unfortunately, this last set has lasted longer! They aren't that bad, no problems here!!

Default 5000 miles. No problems. Smooth, quiet and horrible in snow.

You must have fantastic roads where you live. The smallest of potholes cause bubbles

Default Not to screw Bridgestone, but...

Most of us knew of this problem with the RE040's before we picked up our cars. The posts on this site were numerous. I remember asking the salesman if I could choose tires... He said no, it was random. I had a sidewall go at 250 miles. The second at 5000 miles. I believe this is a generally crappy tire. If anyone else here has has problems with the RE040 (and I know the S4 camp at large has) take the time to fill out the questionaire. I would not have bought nearly $1000 worth of new tires @ 6K miles if I did not think the Bridgestones would not hold up.

http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/ivoq/default.htm</a
