Howdy folks:
I'm looking at getting a new S4 pretty soon if I can convince the wife of it. I have a highly modified Grand Prix GTP (no flames, please) that runs mid 13's in the 1/4 mile at around 102 MPH and the 1/8 mile in around 8.9 at 80 MPH. These are usually with a 2.1 60' time in decent weather. Of course, the S4 is AWD, so the 60' times should be less, which does make a good difference.
Can you tell me what your S4 has done on a track (both 1/4 and 1/8 mile) both stock and chipped as a comparison? Please include ambient conditions and 60' times.
Thanks for the help.
Regards,
Brian

S4 6-speed:
Car and Driver 0-60/5.6 1/4mile 14.2@98
Road and Track 0-60/5.5 1/4mile 14.1@98.5
My S4 tip is GIAC chipped, but I have no accurate mumbers on it. However, it is WAY stronger than stock. I also have a Firebird that is producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 400HP and the S4 is so close to it in acceleration that I'd hate to have to live on the difference. Most posts I've seen on chipped S4 6-speeds claim 0-60 in the high four second range and at least a 1/2 second improvement in 1/4 mile times, with speeds around 102-103.
