Really simple Tire pressure question..... What should it be?

Default Really simple Tire pressure question..... What should it be?

I'm too lazy to look in the book and i figured i could get a quick answer here.

Look on your tires. Usually about 40psi.

Default If you're too lazy to look in the book, then you probably don't care enough to be precise, so...

keep it in the high 30's. 36psi, 38psi, that sort of range. I usually run my fronts a little lower than the rears, cold-temperature because they tend to get a little warmer than the rear when they are hot, so they even out.

According to my smarttire this morning I was at 34psi in the fronts and 35psi in the rears, all were at 38psi within a few miles of driving. I usually shoot for 36-38psi cold, but the ambient temperature has dropped 40 degrees here in the last week and I haven't refilled them.

fyi ; tire pressure specs are for cold tires.

Default Haha - i looked at all the doors on the car for a sticker.....

never thought to check the fuel filler door.
