and by the time you install them on a baffle board your hogging up more space then a sub in a box....
if you want an inexpensive way out, SAS bazooka is the way to go...they come in 8, 10, and 12" sizes you can even get a powered one, so you save the extra screws and intall times and much of the wiring on a regular sub/amp setup... it straps to a corner or behind the seat and they sound great... just please diconnect them damn woofers

...i don't have them, but I have had 3 rear's replaced under warranty, and 1 outside of warranty, which is why I know what not to do when the 5th one blows...

available as the heavier the glue and the more you apply, the more the bass suffers. Mine sounds great, but it just doesnt hit as hard as the bass used to (but not far off). Its a great and cheap fix. Good luck!

pick up a single 10 in sub with a small mono channel amp (which can be done fairly inexpensively). Leave the rear deck speakers as they are but disconnect them. The rear deck speakers are actually mini subs anyway so they are amplified themselves. Run your new mono amp off the power going to the old speakers and the new amp will run the sub. Worked 110% better for myself and got rid of that annoying rattle. Hope this helps.

Turns out the guy b4 me apparently had problems w/ it also and took it in, they did the glue together fix but the surround started pulling away and tearing...so now the hunt for the OEM replacement, any good websites for ordering OEM Bose rear-decks?
