Default Yeah...You drive a $42k car...It's not gonna be cheap to fix

And that's some gnarly damage there.

Default my guess:

New Fender: $400
New Bumper: $450
New Rim: $250 (with tire mounted/blanced)

Fix Door: $150

Possibly Headlight housing replacement: $420
Possibly damaged bearing: $200
Possibly damaged hub: $300
Possibly damaged control arm: $350
Possibly damaged washer unit: $350
Possibly damaged IC: $400

Repaint fender, door, bumper, hood: $1500

So without the POSIBBLE damages, I already see: $2750

With all the possible damages: $4770

Default Could be worse... you could live in NJ

Where my rates went up over 20% even though the car is a year older. And I can't even get insurance from a discounter like Geico because they left the state years ago.

How they are treating you does suck. I had one claim with my insurance Co (GE) and the appraiser was spot on the total cost of repair. I even showed him how to pressure test on his own turbo car the day he dropped by

Default Insurance is the biggest scam going

I've been in NJ for awhile, I think my insurance rates have been adjusted upon renewal every other year (read adjusted up $$$). This is for no goddam reason other than they're greedy.

Default Ironically, Amica was WAY cheaper than GEICO for me (even with much higher coverage limits)

I haven't had to file a claim yet *knock on wood*, but its good to hear that they are easy to deal with should the need arise.
