is it reasonable that a body shop wont repaint mismatched bumpers b/c of the color the flex additive

adds to the paint?
this car was recently completely repainted after an accident and both bumpers are slightly more cream colored instead of white(its a Pcar) and the owner of the shop said he wont fix it. there is also an indentation in the front bumper that is from "the fiberglass setting after it was installed" the guy wont fix this either b/c he wont warrentee fiberglass.
this seems like total bs to me, considering that factory paint matches bumpers to fenders etc, and after 1000 dollars in body work on the bumper to smooth it out etc this stupid indentation seems totally unacceptable. this shop also advertises itself as the best shop in the city and a lot of imports go there for body work.
I admit im pickier than most people but mismatched paint and a dimple in a new bumper really pisses me off. any ideas about this and what to do if its not acceptable. thanks.

its hard to say but the best thing to do is stop by a couple other body shops in the area and have them take a look.
what kind of paint system are they using?? if its a quality paint system the company who distributes the materials/ paint supplies will pay for ****ed up color matches. it happenes all the time and a good shop would've seen it and redone it without ever bringing you into it. the dimple is just sloppy prep work.
now that being said, the fact you only paid a grand for a full respray is a joke. you get what you pay for and that is way cheap. I hope you didnt get screwed with some ppg ****e shop who just roughed up the paint or sealed it then respray but for a grand thats what you prob got.
I've learned more then I ever wanted to know about paint/ body work when my car got ****ed over by a bad respray last year. its all fixed now but damn.. I'll never try respary a car again unless its 100% stripped.
heres a pic of my a4 a couple days before it left the shop

any good body shop (or even mediocre) can match paint no matter if they put the flexibilizer in there or not.
did you go through insurance or did you shell out?
either way i'd stop payment to that other body shop.
go to another and have them replace the bumper and repain ALL areas that were painted by that other shop because they are undoubtedly fcuked!

the car had 25k in repairs, and the putty work and sanding on the Techart bumper alone was 1000 extra (not covered by insurance)
this shop is supposed to be the top shop in pittsburgh, and as far as i know they use the OEM paints but im not positive.

minor imperfections that needed to be smoothed over, and when i saw this dimple after he charged 1000 to smooth it out in prep, i was mighty pissed off.

I highly recommend PDR here is why:
You will save your factory paint avoiding respraying any panels which will affect resale value...
It will cost you way less than claiming to your insurance, safer and better approach from every angle you look at it
