Default Recommendations for 18 inch tires .... (more)

I have 18 x 8.5 BBS CH Rims and need new summer tires that offer some rim protection. Please help.

I currently have Pirelli PZero's and they suck! A bubble after 4000 miles and no durability what so ever.

Thanks
Chris

I second that. I have 235s for my 18" sportecs and they provide great lip protection.

18 x 8.5" Sportecs with 225 S03's here. Do not offer much lip protection. Found out the hard way

Default yes. 235/40/18 S-03s. I had my fenders rolled too and have...

a Neuspeed Sport Springs / Neuspeed Bilsteins which give me a 1.5 finger gap up front and a very tight 2 finger gap in the rear.

No rubbing...but I have the lighter A4.
