Default Redline "Super Light Weight" Shock-Proof (6sp trans lube)

Does this lube have any repercussion on the synchro's? When driving under very, very light acceleration I'm able to pull (very easily) the car out of any gear without the engaging the cluch. Normal or is this the beginining of damage?

Thanks!!!

I'm no expert, but I've been told to never run that stuff.

its normal to be able to disengage gear w/o clutching..go w/Redline MTL or MT90 for tranny

Default SHOCK-PROOF is for people that race and that change the fluid frequently, the heavyweight or the ...

lightweight is just to let you know what type of fluid its for.our cars would use heavyweight.the lightweight is for gearboxes that use light motor oil or auto tranny fluid.

do NOT run shockproof in the 01E gearbox, the additive clogs the oiling holes in the input shaft

Default It does other horrible things to your tranny.....

I have seen a number of 2nd gen eclipse trannies get destroyed by redline products. BG isn't so hot either.
