WindycityS4 hooked me up with this part number

rebuilt Bosch...078906461BX

But he put a bunch of question marks next to the end.

I called the VW parts link

and I keep getting messages and I haven't been able to veryify if it is the correct part #. I want to order the right part ASAP and it will be easiest if I could just verify the part number and order online. Any help.

When I order the refurbished MAF will it just be the sensor or will the whole MAF sensor and housing come together? If it is just the sensor I will need the security allen key right?

I have RS4 maf on ebay comes with Sensor.

Comes in tube/sensor combo. BTW, ECS has the RS4(S8) reman MAF for $74. Thx ECS.

Will the RS4 MAF interface with my 2000 S4 "M-Box?" or do I need to uprgrade my ECU?

...and then you'd need a Hitachi sensor so I guess I answered my own question on that one.

A box was Bosch S4 MAF. H(iirc)/M/T are Hitachi MAFs. This help?

that is correct, the refurb part has the X on the sticker, but not on the part.
