Release of GIAC 3- software (K04's stock MAF and injectors)
Hi Everyone,
GIAC has just released the 3- software for the B5 S4.
This software was developed to meet the need of many who wanted a cost effective trouble free way to install k04 turbos. It was set up and tested with a Bosch Motorsport 5 bar fuel pressure regulator and off the shelf K04 turbos. The regulator is about $200 at this time and the software is $800. You will be able to trade in your old GIAC chip. Ask your dealer for details on a credit.
If you have an ā€oeAā€¯ box car it will need to be converted to a Hitachi MAF, an ā€oeHā€¯ box 2001 will need a simple recode to use ā€oeMā€¯ code. Thanks to Mike Shimon for the knowledge on how to do this! The instructions and parts needed to install the Hitachi MAF have been sent out to the GIAC dealer network along with the new software.
The software was setup to use the existing hardware as far as we were comfortable taking it with the stock injectors and MAF. 1.3 bar peak and 1.1-1.2bar at 6500 RPMā€TMs.
Long term fuel trims as tested with the Bosch 5 Bar were less than 4% negative across the board.
Please be aware that this is not intended to replace real ā€oeStage 3ā€¯ tuning. Adaptation channels have been turned off as the injector on time is very high and GIAC does not want any hand in causing possible damage to your cars.
I hope you all enjoy this setup!

Re: Good work Jeff.
Thanks Ben,
Ben busy. Have been setting up wholesale accounts and the training and setting up is taking a bit of time. It is all fun!
The new 91 octane stuff is looking really good. Will get in touch with you when it is all nailed down.
Say hello to Jen.
