Default Replaced coil packs on cyl 1 and cyl 4, replaced all spark plugs

car still won't start. Noticed the diaphragm comming off the right side of the Y-pipe was torn right where the little rubber hose meets the diaphragm.

After that, we got curious and pulled the coil pack out, put a spark plug in it, and tried to start the engine...no spark.

I'm not mechanic, but I'm thinking this is bad. What is farther up the chain that would be keeping the spark plugs from arcing?

What led to all this? And, are the injectors firing?

Default Not sure what led to it...me flooding it with oil didn't help, but wasn't the cause

How would I check if injectors are firing? How would I take those out? But isn't that a moot point if I'm not getting any spark?

Default Was there oil on the plugs? Were they wet with gas?

How do you know there isn't any spark?
