replacement cost for synchros
I'm open to suggestions. I think my 2nd gear synchro is out, because whenever I upshift into 2nd when over ~4500 RPM, it grinds before going in.
I have 63K miles on the car (2001 S4, K04 upgraded), and obviously am not under warranty. I have seen other posts indicating that this is not an unusual problem, but no one has said what the replacemnt cost is. How much will synchro replacement cost?
