I just called Sybesma's; for Audi mirrors they are no longer doing reman'd units with a core exchange. They are now doing in-house repair and return of your original mirror. Just ship yours to them with a note containing your contact info, they'll call you and do a CC payment over the phone, then repair and ship yours back to you in 24-48 hrs. Cost is now $95.

I recently purchased a used part from a salvage operation and it failed after 5+ months. Same problem with dimming gel leakage. I figured all used parts are over 15+ years old and perhaps not worth buying another one and actually consider getting it repair. So that I don’t have to deal with this issue again.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
