Default I bought a replacement awhile back. Whats the easiest(and safest) way to remove the current rearview
I'm scared if I pull on it too hard, I'm gonna crack the windshield. Can I apply a lot of force to remove it? TIA.

I just called Sybesma's; for Audi mirrors they are no longer doing reman'd units with a core exchange. They are now doing in-house repair and return of your original mirror. Just ship yours to them with a note containing your contact info, they'll call you and do a CC payment over the phone, then repair and ship yours back to you in 24-48 hrs. Cost is now $95.
