I would say no... If the fuel rail is bolted to the manifold (and spaced properly, if necessary)...

the injectors can't really go anywhere. The clips are just extra insurance and guarantee that the injectors stay with the fuel rail if you remove it from the manifold.

Do you have (or know where l can get) a tutorial? Im handy but new to fuel injector repairs/replacements and can’t find a ‘how-to’ for the 2.7t.
