Replacing Maple Wood trim with Aluminum trim in Onyx interior (5 pics) --> Phase I

I've finally found someone to trade his aluminum trim with my Maple wood trim. Thanks George (aka "GreyhoundGuy")!
The first thing I would like to say is that the whole process is PITA (thanks for the help George), but it's worth it!
Phase I included replacing the 2 front panel trims (this is the hardest part, cause you have to take apart almost everything in the front), and also installing my aftermarket GPS system in the place of the front ashtray (never used it anyway). We've figured out that it would be the best place to put the GPS system to totally hide all the wires that connect to the back of the GPS and go under the area where the ashtray used to be i.e. the power wire, the external antenna, the speaker wire (I've connected it to the extra front speaker) and the small red LED light (the one that used to light the ashtray) In Phase II we will replace the 4 door trims, which are much easier to do (hopefully during this week).
Below are some before and after pics that George and I took during the installation (yes the little screen in front of the shifter is the GPS system).

BTW - I found a $20 battery powered headphone signal booster at Radio Shack, but I still haven't gotten around to wiring mine yet.
Also, hows the GPS reception that low on the dash, or are you getting a remote antena?

the antenna is remote, left corner of windshield. We checked before he left and it worked fine.
