How are folks doing with their alcantara seats with regard to:
* Cleaning
* Pilling
* Matting
* Dirt/Stains/Cleanliness
* Creasing
* Wear
* Etc.

....40,000 miles on my car. I would get it again and I would even do custom seats with this material. I would probably go with a darker material than the silver, though. A friend spilled Pepsi on the passenger seat and it rolled right off. Nice!
Actually, I liked the material so much that I got furniture covered in the same sort of stuff.

I have silver alcantara that I clean once or twice a year with soap and water. They get slightly dingy, but you really don't notice until you clean them. I have very slight pilling in a couple of places, but again, it's not something you notice until you really scrutinize the seats.
I was concerned about getting the silver alcantara because I had the ecru interior on my A4 (which definitely showed wear and tear), but overall the alcantara has held up extremely well IMHO.

5 months to get this car (of course I thought it was going to be more like 3 months). I did the same for my A4 Sport Seats. The seats are your main contact with the car, and thus quite improtant, IMO.
So far, I've had a few ball point pen marks on the alcantara, that cleaned up with soap and water and a little scrubbing. Later I read that I should use alcohol, so maybe next time (knock on wood). I also had a sizeable (the width of the seat and ~6" deep) puddle of coffee that soaked into the seat (while driving). When I got home, I was able to wet it down and absorb most of the liquid. Then some soap and water to clean things up. It was actually easier (though higher stress) to clean up than the pen. You'd never know either took place.
I'd get them again in a heartbeat!
