Default repost, found out what my AC problem was, but dont know how to fix it.... more inside

while STFA i found out that the commputer shuts off the ac at 35 degrees. the problem is that at highway speeds, my temp sensor read well into the negatives which i turn shuts off the AC. is this a faulty sensor (the one in the bumper) or bad placement or what? if i need a new sensor where should i get one? im considering wrapping tape around it and saying to hell with it haha!! further research says there are two sensors.... the one in the bumper and the one by the pollen filter.... which one is bad? will vag-com tell me
