This is the hose I was talkin about in my earlier post that has a braided silver line (not the big one in the pic the upper smaller one in the pic) The metal part connects to the turbo which you can't see in the picture because the hose (from the wastegate) is blocking the view. There is also some sort of bolt/banjo along side of the joint where it connects to the tubo as well. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to know if this will be a major issue or not. I will be upgrading turbos within the next 6 months (hopefully, depending on bonus at work) I'v been trying to figure out my loss of 70-80 mbar while in the upper ranges of the powerband (boost log is in my picposter) I'm AMS stage 1 (A- box) and running FATS of 6 seconds which is sort of slow comparing to others however I did beat a stock STI from 0-80 by half a car length this weekend and was still pulling away. I'm in San Jose,CA which was about 55 degrees on 91 craptane when doing the run. Replaced DV's to 710 N Friday night but still same results. Well I've got the same problem on a 1999 stock S4 Avant. I brought my car at the local official Audi Service. Result? New BPVs, new hoses, new boost pressure sensor... but still the same problem (and still the same DTC). So this morning the technician told me that there could be a leak in a tube connecting the wastegate to the turbo, and I think it's the one pictured in here. I will let you know the end of this story
