Default REVIEW: Dynamat for improved sound & quietness!

Agravic/Audimods is a very good friend of mine and for over a year now, he's been telling me to have my S4 "dynamatted" because it would significantly improve the quietness as well as improve the sound of the S4 stereo by bringing out the entire range of the mid bass, where it lacks.

I finally got around to having Agravic/Audimods do the install yesterday and it's incredible. For less than $200 for parts and labor, the difference is incredible. My de-Bosed stereo sounds much fuller. It's like I changed the speakers. It's that dramatic. The music is now much tighter, more focused. Whereas before it was hollow and "bounced" randomly.

Even more dramatic is the sound reduction. It's got to be at least a 3 decibel reduction, maybe even 5. Every time I'm in the car on the cell phone, there's a great deal of background noise, a combination of loud exhaust, road noise, ultra low profile tires on 19" wheels. After getting the Dynamat installed I called my Mother and she could not believe I was in the car. She thought I was inside because she could did not hear any ambient noise.

So, I give Dynamat a rating of: a have must mod, two enthusiastic thumbs up, 5-Stars, AAA, 10 out of 10, and a shout out to Agravic/Audimods for the quick and perfect install. :-)

Agravic/AudiMods' Website

I'd say total: 10-15lbs. Also the door feels much more solid, like closing a Mercedes door. :-P

Default Dont use dynamat : Too expensive -- Buy RAAMMAT.

Search for seller "raam" on ebay, or email him through www.raamaudio.com. I do this stereo thing for a living, its a very very very comparable product, at a fraction of the price.
