Note: the shift **** is a Momo Sphere with an SPP carbon fiber look shift boot. All current Toy Guy shift mods are Version 2.
I received one of Toy Guy's first shift mods approximately 2 years ago and it has served me well. I recently received the updated version of Toy Guy's Shifter and it's first-rate, even better than the original!
I've had the Tanoga, UUC at 20, 30 (smoothest) and 40% settings and the Stratmosphere. I've tried the Neuspeed and B&M as well. They are all good shifters with the Tanoga getting the edge. But overall, the Toy Guy Shifter is the best.
Simply stated, when compared to the stock shifter, the Toy Guy Shifter is smoother, more precise and of course, the throw is shorter. The original Toy Guy Shifter throw reduction was at ~28%. The new mod is a bit shorter, I would say ~30-32% (Craig, please correct me if I am wrong). The revised Toy Guy Shifter is more precise than the original.
Again, every aftermarket shifter I have tried for the S4 is better than the stock shifter. But the best is the Toy Guy Shifter. Especially at ~$135, it's the best-bang-for-the buck and one of the best overall mods for the S4.
Please note, as with every aftermarket mod, the installation is key. A proper installation of the shift is vital. Toy Guy did the first install and it was perfect. Agravic/Audimods (audimods@yahoo.com) did the install on my revised Toy Guy Shifter and again, it was perfect. I thank both of them.

Toy Guy's Website

...after the install of a short shifter?
I know I had a dealer try to void my tranny warranty in my old Civic. Claimed "reduced throw of short shifter didn't give the syncro's time to sync".
I laughed.
Curious if DTS will void warranty as well.
