First of all, thanks to Zev for all your efforts in getting my wheels shipped to me as fast as possible. I finally got a chance to install them and they look good.
I purchased a set of 18 x 8 Kahn RSS wheels and Yokohama Parada Spec-2 tires. It seems that there is not a lot of experience on the forum with these tires. A lot of what I heard from people was to stay away from them because the first gen was really bad. I decided to go with them anyway and so far they seem to be pretty good. Dry grip is very good but I haven't had a chance to try it in the rain yet. The one thing I find strange is that the tread seems to be very soft for a UTOG 300 rated tire. My guess is that the top layer of rubber is very soft for maximum grip but as you wear the tire down the rubber will be harder and therefore last longer. We'll just have to see how the tire holds up in the long run but for only $140 I'm more than satisfied.
Contrary to what everyone has told me, the ride quality has actually improved going from the stock 17" to 18" wheels. The ride is smoother and quieter. Even my girlfriend commented that the car feels much different. This was my first real mod to the car besides the sound system and I have to say that it turned out much better than I thought it would.
That is all!
