H&R Streets are awesome daily drivers, IMO. Better feel for the road but not harsh.

Default Yes I did and many other set-ups but that was not included in this review. This review was...

...of suspensions I have had on my S4 and know very well (with the exception of the Ultras and Stasis).

I will do another review with everything I have ever tried soon. :-)

Default Yes, it's a bit bouncy. But less so with the FK Konigsport shocks. The bottom line is...

...the springs are 800F/1100R and the shocks are not valved for that much spring rate. I'm not sure about the Intrax but I think the FKs are good for up to 700-800lbs. max (if that)

This is fine for normal driving and on the track, but when it gets bumpy, sometimes, it's not comfortable.

Which Stasis setups are you referring to? Interesting to hear that they are more harsh.

For everyday driving they are pretty good. I like mine except for the slight bobbing on the front.

Default StreetSports - 500/600 linears at first, converted to 400/400(or 380s) progressives, then

revalved those to address some of the initial compression issues. Made them better but for daily driving(sometimes 300-400mi a day) and no track time the H&Rs fit me better. They are more supple and even though they are also progressives(450/475 avant kit) they control the initial compression/rebound much better than the Konis on the Stasis kits.

Default Cool. I got the H&R Avants on my sedan per your recommendation...

they are working out well...especially since I have to deal with crappy city streets every day. The only puzzling thing is that after I got them corner balanced at a VW/Audi enthusiast shop in Berkeley, the ride height was set at 25.5"F/25.25R. I don't know why the rears are lower. Could it be because the higher spring rate (475 instead of 450) on the rear allows more weight to be shifted back and so the corner balance sets them up lower in back? The shop said that even though the fender height is indeed lower in back the proper way to measure is by the slope of the bottom of the chassis (like beneath the doors). If you look at it that way my car is nearly level.

Default Hey, good to know. My rears settled a good bit and although I have not corner balanced

with me in the car, I have them at an even 25.25" fender to road, measured at the centerline of the hub. Think these are the best overall for my tastes on the street. Still miss the aggressiveness of the Stasis stuff though when I want to rip a bit =-)
