I am helping one of my friends to install his new RNS-E in his 2004 Audi A4 and I can't find out how to update the firmware.

His unit is the Euro version and also with firmware 100 and hardware H53.

I know there was a 7MB zip file somewhere that I could just download and burn on the CD but I can't find anywhere (Navplus or Yahoo groups).

Does any one have the file or detail info on how to do it?

I found simple instruction for the file editing but it didn't work.

I used ultra edit 32 to edit for the first upgrade from eu to us, I haven't done the new one yet.

Yeah Ben has the original files that I sent him along with the US Disc.

Try burning the update files onto a single layer DVD instead of a CD.
