In retrospect, I may have done something to **** him off. I was smiling at a joke from my favorite local morning show. He might have misinterpreted that as disdain or ridicule for his ride. Not my intention or ever will be. Driving the S4 as it is, gives me reason to wear a smile all the time. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to practice smiling with a stiff upper lip ;-).

Same situation as you where you just sit there scratching your head and wondering what this chumps life must be like both on and off the highway... anyway, I get to a stoplight after this guy is pulling in front of me and slamming on his brakes, and although I need to make a left turn, the last place I wanted to be was stopped at a light with this a$$wipe next to me... so I take a right turn, and proceed to take a tour around town with this guy trying to pull up next to me the whole time. I put in a call to the police, and they told me to drive to the station to see if he would follow me in... just as I was about to head that direction, I notice a motorcycle police officer who has someone pulled over. I decide to pull up right behind this whole scene and wave the chump in to follow me. He declined (as expected) by foaming at the mouth and screaming obscenities out the window.. The cop didn't know what to make of it, and kind of looked at him strange and then looked back at me. I quickly expleined to him what was going on, and he offered to chat more about it after writing his ticket. I declined, and took a different way back to work again. The chump apparently went home to beat his wife or kick his dog... It's kinda scary sometimes when we are reminded of how many on-the-edge freaks the actually are wandering this planet!
