Just recv'd my RS4 **** in black Alcantara and swapped out my brushed aluminum RobKnob for the cold months..that alu **** is ice cold in the morning.

The overall height is slightly greater, maybe a half inch but it tapers from the bottom to top unlike the RKII which is simple ball style **** and is obviously shorter.

BTW, with the Neuspeed Short shift the RKII results in a VERY short legnth and the throw seems even shorter...

While I really like the shorter RKII, and it's heavier feel (which is supposed to increase the momentum of a gear shift and make it feal smoother and easier with a short shift kit), the RS4 **** is so sweet! I can only drool thinking what alcantara seats must be like...F__K I wish I ordered them...

I have had the RS4 **** on for a day or so and I swear I am shifting smoother..Maybe the extra legnth makes it easier to shift without moving my arm? Don't know...

So I have a cool weather (spring and fall) **** and a **** that will be great in the winter and summer heat...

I truely recommend both *****

The flash washes it out a bit...the color match is excellent...

I still like the RobKnob II, however, I'm going to keep the RS4 **** for the colder months...save my palm...
