Default Rocking with snub mount (m)

Is it normal to have this sensation with the snub...if I have it revved to about 3 grand and let off the gas there is a noticeable thud...is this normal? Shifting seems improved.

TIA

Yup, I thought the Snubbie was supposed to help that though? Any ideas?

Default It does, some... But if you really try to make it happen...

(ie, revving it up to 3k and just letting off the gas), it still will. That energy has to go somewhere!

The DTS helps that particular situation more than the snub mount does. The snub mount is great for stiffening up shifts, but that sort of drivetrain shock is better handled by the DTS.

For what its worth, though, I have both, and I'll still get the occasional lurch like that if I get off the gas too quickly without any load on the drivetrain.

Sounds good, thanks. I might have to try out the DTS.
