Default RPM jumping up and down @ idle...what's going on?

ok...temperature jumps from mid 40's a week or so ago to mid 80's in the past 2-3 days.

Had Throttle Actuator problem (sensor going south, it seems like....code 17579), then suddenly, rpm started hoppin' up and down +/- 200rpm around 800rpm...

anyone experienced this?

could be be due to temperature change? or my S is acting up for some other reason?

isn't a throttle actuator something that controls the throttle, and thus RPMs?
