Maybe a n00bie question, buts where would one get a spec 2?

Better yet who makes it?

I think the rating is a little conversative. It seems to work fine and drives nice.

i agree the numbers are probably on the conservative side

but i'd rather err on the higher side of things.

the *brand new* stock clutch(~245lbft) on my a4 handled stage3 torque(~315lbft) for about 10k miles before it went. wasnt fun.

the clutch "gave up the ghost" coming onto the front straight @ texas world speedway in 4th(!!!) gear. pretty much ruined my entire weekend .. heh.
