Default Rs4 clutch worth it? I have a rear main seal that is bad, so the

dealer will have the car apart for sure.

Planning on doing stage II soon.

I read that the only difference in the rs4 set up is the disk, and the the pressure pate and TOB are the same. Is this true?

Default Yes the pressure plate is the only difference...

Also look into the SPEC StageII clutch from New Dimensions.

bearing is the same as the s4 but the pressure plate and disk are "stronger" i would say do it for sure especially if you are going to introduce more HP and torque.. i am going to when my stock s4 clutch goes on my stage II A box 6spd

Default yes it is worth it

I had one on my car for about a year and a half and NEVER not even ONCE had it slip on me (with K04s). I changed to a Spec Stage 2 clutch ONLY because I knew the S4 challenge might take the RS4 clutch beyond its designed limitations (5k rpm clutch drops, etc).

I have a complete RS4 clutch kit in stock and ready to ship for only $545!

Default I've heard the Spec 2 grabs better and has similar engagement

Maybe you want to look into that one too. Aside: I didn't know they made the A6 with a 6sp.

The SPEC Stg2 clutch is a great solution. Search the S4 forum for info or call me.
