Default RS4 DTM Center Cap DIY

I've had some requests for this... pretty easy, but here ya'll go!

Start with this:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/45294/rs4dtm_1.jpg">

Take the metal ring out of the center cap, and press the cap into the wheel. Mark where the 4 tabs are:

Take the cap out, and go to work with your dremmel, or die grinder and small cutting wheel:

The cuts should be about 3/4 of the way into the wheel. It'll look something like:

After doing all 4 of the grooves, re-install the cap, and it will stay in very nicely!

I would not reccomend tracking with them though...

Default No kidding, I seem to have the worst luck with these things...

I think I'm just gonna superglue them in.

Default You could always cut the tabs off, and hit them up with a bunch of JB Weld... (m)

I've considered putting a dab of silicone glue on each of my tabs just for safe keeping... but since I haven't lost one (knock on wood) I haven't done it...
