Hello, I just got my '01 S4 Tip less than a week ago and I am already thinking of all the possibilties. I'm still contemplating a chip but don't want to jepordize my aftermarket warranty. One particular modification I will be going through with is a new front bumper. I do very much like the reiger rs4 piece but with the conservative color of santorin(dark blue) the side gills would look a little out of place I think. I love the style of the front air inlets but those gills are a little much for my taste. So my long winded question is: are there any aftermarket bumpers for the S4 that mimic the rs4 piece without the side gills? Or is the removal of the seperating strips across the middle of the air inlets on the stock s4 bumper the only option. Also if anyone knows of any links to some santorin S4s with or without body modifications I would love to see them. Thanks for reading.

Thanks, it does look better than I thought. Where did you get the bumper, LLTEK? and if so did you order it prepainted or did a body shop do it. Either way what I was wondering what the the cost was, prepainted or if not the charge for a body shop to paint it. Also where did you get the grille w/ the matching mesh of the bumper? Thanks again.

The whole mechanism looks like it is slid fairly far back (as in the bolt is far forward in the slot)

the moulding prior to paint prep.... really isn't that hard a job. But I think it looks good with them.

The bumper came from Avalon. This is not a Reiger bumper SKIN (that attaches to the stock crashbar), but an OEM Audi RS4 bumper (requires modifications to made fit). Hence the matching of the Bumper Grills and the OEM RS4 grill in the hood. As for costs, varies heavily. Call a tuner for a price, make sure you get RS4 bumper shocks to avoid all the hassles I had (some tuners include these with the bumper), and get a quote from a bodyshop on install costs.
