RS4 IC or AWE IC? Help me decide....

If you can get the RS4 units and associate plumbing for less than the AWE unit, I'd go with them. Performance differences are negligable at best, though the inlet and outlet diameters on the RS4 setup are favorable. The RS4 setup does require a bit more in the way of installation.

Yea, the RS4 cast end tanks are very smooth which gives them a slight advantage. The AWE core is thicker and uses a better design, which has less pressure loss. I speculate the better AWE core size/design makes up for the not-as-smooth welded end tanks. AWE use stock hoses so install should be easier. I agree that the differences would be tough to measure. I'll put money on AWE if someone put both units on a test bench. If AWE had smoother end tanks it would be no contest. Don't forget: AWE price includes shrouds (air scoops). Don't compare their price with the price of RS4 IC's without shrouds.
