I have an RS4 airbox setup. Everything will work just fine, except the MAF cable doesn't connect to the RS4 MAF (Bosch). Do I need a different cable?

.... if the code you have is tuned/written for the hitachi, the car will run like poop.. plus what about the MAF diameter difference between the S4 and RS4 maf? You need a program tuned for RS4 maf otherwise again, poop.
Maybe you have an actual kit with software and just aren't telling us? If that's the case you have to splice the wires and rewire it to work with a Bosch connector, which you should have received with the kit assuming you got a real kit that was designed for your car.

I have a homebrew that I have pieced together. I have ASP stage 3 injectors, RS4 airbox, large MAF housing, Bosch MAF, accordion hose, adjustable fpr. Step one is making sure I have everything I need. Step two is installing everything and getting a tune.
I will look into rewiring the MAF connection. Though, I have heard that it is better to go with a Hitachi. Thoughts?
Thanks for the info!

exactly what size of maf? how do you plan on using your adj FPR, as in what setting?
honestly, just sell everything and buy an OTS or else you are giong to hurt your car. you can't just go switching maf sensors around. do you have a vag cable? ecux?
seriously, just sell everything and buy OTS. set it and forget it.

I am test fitting. I am not throwing parts on at random. And even at that, it will still be a while before I move to stage 3. I just wanted to know how to connect the MAF...
Buehn 88mm Maf Housing (Bosch MAF) btw

fits an hitachi sensor. you are in fact just throwing parts on and just buying random stuff. obviously you need to do a bit more research. for starts are you an A box? no, so what makes you think you can just randomly connect to a bosch sensor? i mean why buy or even have a part that is useless to you?
