The photo is a little old. He has replaced it with a new Mk2 version of the GT3 and he's replaced the G-Wagon with a Cayenne. The paint and sidewalls are identical. The plate is German NE1 something...

In his new GT3 he and I are about evenly matched. We often look for each other when we're there.

A lot of people will run with the tow hook actually in. Better to make it clear to the tow truck operator so that he doesn't just hook up to something you'd rather not in a hurry.

Actually, it has become a matter of style too. The message is "this is a track car".
