Installed it myself, checked the SAC 4 times. It had slip marks painted on it & they were lined up correctly. I even called & verified to make sure, so I wouldn't have any problems.
Here's the deal: The clutch won't fully disengage. How do I know for-shizzle? Difficulty getting the car in gear. When it IS in gear, will actually roll a bit on a flat surface with the pedal to the floor, and 1/8th" of clutch pedal movement will obviously cause the clutch to grab. Thinking that the slave wasn't fully extending, that's been power-bled & we put in a new master clutch assy. Lastly, with the engine running, the car won't go into reverse, but with a bit of pressure applied to the shifter, you can hear the syncro/ trans shafts start to roll.
Has anyone had this problem? From what I've read, a mis-adjusted SAC will cause a new clutch to slip with the pedal out.
As far as I can tell, that's the only thing it can be, & I'm not sure what to do to it, once the trans is back out. Any ideas? TIA.

With the SAC out of alignment, it will be difficult, if not impossible, to disengage the clutch.
Have you only power bled the clutch? Tried it the old-fashioned way? I don't know if bleeding the brakes may have an impact as well, since the reservoir probably went dry.

I finally ended my misery and I gave up on the RS4 SAC. I appear to be the only one here who thinks that the SAC PP was designed by short-bus-riding-satan himself... and I'm sure I'll get flamed and told I installed all of them wrong... but the reality is...

Im also having this problem. Only 600 miles on the clutch/flywheel from Vast. Mine doesnt disengage until the very top and feels very sloppy. How can it be resolved?

Iv'e called and left Vast a email regarding the problem so hopefully they get back to me soon. Ill try getting ahold of them on monday again.
Sucks to have to pull the trans and clutch this soon. Time for a trans rebuild anyways I suppose.
