Default So what's your question?

If you want to run them, run them. No one to my knowledge has ever run a straight RS6 K04 (read *non-RS4/RS6 hybrid) turbos so it's hard for us to weigh in on whether it can handle triple 7psi.

People here HAVE run K04/RS6 hybrids with about as much success as you'll see with K04's. If you're saying you want MORE power than that and you have a fab guy that can make you anything then why not go with a garrett or K16/24 solution to be on the safe side?

Default Like I said below, I am still learning with this car but since I have an ebay car that came with

a blown turbo that didn't make itself clear until I was hundreds of miles away from pickup, I am cought off gaurd and even though I had planned to upgrade the turbo's and pretty much everything else, I was not ready to do it right away, so hear I sit with AW asking questions that people seem to think I'm crazy for asking. I come from the URS-cars where pretty much everyone works on their own car so answeres are way easier to come by when you need help. I just want to upgrade the turbo's and do it right since I have to buy two and can not afford to do it 5 times to get it right like I did with my S4 and S2. Thanks for any help.

Default Thanks, wish I could afford that but I have talked to them and at this point they are out of my

price range.

Default Hybrids are out of your price range but you are going to have manifolds, inlets

and downpipes fabed up for you? Do you realize the amount of money it's going to cost to have that done? Email Mark@Autospeed and ask him how long it took to get the GT turbos to fit...

Default It's not the actual fabbing that would be hard. It's all the engine pulls required to see

if everything fits properly. I'm not sure how much bigger the RS6 turbo housings are compared to the K04's. But the K04's are a tight fit as it is. If the Rs6's are much bigger they will need to be relocated which is where you are going to run into problems.

IF you do get them to fit, have you looked into seeing if they will actually work well with the S4 engine? They were designed for an engine almost twice as big as ours with 2 more cylinders. Have you looked into them enough to know whether or not they will even spool well on our cars?

Then comes the tuning. ASP spent a while on tuning the GT car because the boost characteristics were so different from the K03 and K04 cars. How will tuning these turbos compare to tuning other K04's? Lemmiwinks tuning may not be the ideal method to tune the car. In that case you will need to find someone to custon tune the car for you.

These are all things you have to be prepared to deal with, both time and money wise. I'm not discouraging you, but it seems as though you are on a budget. Striking out and installing different turbos that no one else has done before might not be the best thing to do if you are on a budget. And if it doesn't work out, you can't just simply say "welp that sucks I'll just take them out now". You have to pull the whole engine just to get at them...
