Default S-4 Clutch

I'm a new "poster" and wondering if anybody has experienced the following. My car is a stock '00 S-4 with 43K. Recently, my clutch started acting funny when cold. After I release the pedal, there is a slight slippage before I get completely locked-up. It seems like its only happening in 1st gear and after the initial slip completely locks-up with no additional slipping detected. The problem seems to go away once the car is warmed-up. Is the clutch going away on me?

Default But he didn't mention grinding or difficulty engaging 2nd gear....

...only that the clutch seems to be slipping in 1st gear.

There's no difficulty engaging gears. It is only on the initial take-up. I let the clutch pedal out completely, and it feels like there is a delay before the clutch is fully engaged.
