I pulled up next to a LOUD black baracuda yesterday and dropped from 4th to 3rd and pulled by him a bit. When I was waitin at the stop light to hang a left he blows by me WOT, so I say what the hell and pursue. When I pull next to him he says "Now you're makin me laugh." My passenger was quick to say "You're makin us laugh too buddy." He insisted on going from a stop - poor guy. Ripped him off the line, he didn't even seem to run. When he pulled up I said "you scared or what?"

I think he realized that this car actually has some ***** and wanted to hit the interstate. We went rolling start lined up next to each other on the on-ramp. 1st gear I pulled 1/2 car. It stayed that way all the way until the top of 3rd, then I started to pull. Hit 4th and I was a good 3-4 car lenghts. So this was about a 0-120 run.

Both the guys in the muscle car were quick to give me the thumbs up and nod. I think I gave them a bit of a surprise. Anyway, I think this guy will think twice when he pulls next a 4-door Audi.

BTW, his car was sick. Jacked up in the rear with two super wide tires. He had a large hoodvent and a boost gauge - I assumed he was running a blower. He had a couple Summit sticker on there as well, possibly a drag car. Maybe the outcome would be different if he was runnin slicks.

Pickin apart muscle cars just gives me a bit more gratification than say, porsches or corvettes :-p

Cool. I had similar success with a '70 Cuda 440. It wasn't blown though :-)
