s4 b5 loses power in rain and make loud exhaust sounds

I would either check your air box next time this happens to see if there is water in it. Or next time you know its going to rain heavily duct tape over the holes and see if it still happens.

And is it just me or is it frickin impossible to get the 4th clip underneath the MAF on the airbox back on? geez

ah gracias! and i use coat hangers for everything from cleaning my homebrew kegs to irritating friends- cant believe i didnt think of that! ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh and i think i found the problem from audizine or sounds very likely...
"I had the exact same problem. What you are hearing is the center hanger hitting the drive shaft. The problem is that your hangers are not centered around the drive shaft and when the water hits the hot stainless steel pipes the exhaust line distorts. I ended up having to re bend some of the angles in the front "Y" section to get the exhaust line centered and the problem was fixed."
