Can you believe it? It was an air leak in the intake tract that would cause my car to shut down. Not run limp mode, SHUT DOWN!
This sucks....
Anyhow, trade in value for our beloved S4 sucks massive wind.

can you provide more details of what went wrong? Hose went bad?
Must keep Hose in check ya know... you of all people should know this.

there is a vacuum hose that busted...Here is the strange part for those of you not in the know.
Prior to finding the hose that busted, the ECU and TCM BOTH failed. That's right, they BOTH FAILED. VAG would not speak to either module. Dealer could not speak to either module. BOTH had to be replaced. Once that was working, they found the vacuum hose that busted. Great eh?
