My wife just brought home a 2000 S4 6 speed with 118000 miles. Seems like ok condition. I have some question maybe you can answer:
How often do I need to grease, clean and inspect these Forge diverter valves. The car will be driven daily about 16 miles, mixed HWY and city.

How do I work this? I cant seem to find an on line manual. Do the new ones work the same way as this old one, more or less?

This is the timing belt - exposed - the passenger side upper cover is missing. Should I be concerned? Dirt water...right? Why would someone leave that off? Sound cool or something?

What is your first choice in gear box oil?
Other than that all the turbo plumbing looks ok. There is a torn ball joint dust boot or 2, Bad CV joint boot...nothings perfect.
Thanks
