S4 is going away....
with mixed emotions I am ending my tenure as a B5 S4 owner, I absolutely love the car but hate it at the same time. In only 3 months I've had 2500$ in maintenance, with no end in sight, and that's not including the 3000$ in mods I've put into it - again with no end in sight, so in order to save my marriage and the rest of my savings I've decided to part ways.
I've had the car for 3 months and about 1200 miles, and dumped a **** ton of cash into it, It has to be one of the funnest cars to drive that i've ever owned - particularly now after it's all modded, dropped to 25.5 all around, wheels, stg 2+, etc....
stuff for sell in the classifieds...
I do want to PERSONALLY thank tony@EPL he's answered a bunch of questions and been a great help, I'm sorry to have wasted your time only to turn around and sell the car...
For those that care, I managed to get 12,700 in trade which is 1400$ less than i paid 3 months ago, but also keep in mind that is losing my wheels/tires in the deal so net net i'm out about 6 grand in 3 months
If anyone is in austin/houston/dallas/san antonio and want a sweet, lowish mile well modded stg2+ silver 2001 car and want to give me even 12,701 I'd rather sell it to someone who wants it than trade it. I can't imagine that there is much maintenance left but I have to admit I'm scared ;P - Also if you happen to personally want to buy the car, I'll give you all the stuff in my for sale ad as well...
All in all, if it were my 3rd car, I'd have kept it - but being that I drive so little that when I do drive i need a reliable car I've decided to move on and cut my losses....

honestly you guys have been a great community and very helpful, have learned a load of stuff in a ve
ry short period of time and if this deal hadn't almost cost me my marriage I would have stuck it out, but I was working on that car every waking moment I had and with a new baby in the house that didn't go over so hot...
