Default I've been a subaru owner for a long time and this was my first into the audi's... My experience has

not been as good as yours, from a mod perspective it's great - car is wicked fast, and rides great now on the coil overs, but from a maintenance perspective it's been a nightmare...

It's a bummer, i really do like the car, and as I drove it into the office today I actually thought about NOT selling it

If the car has a bumper to bumper warranty, why did you have to pay for repairs?

Default Similar boat, but I refuse to quit.

I'm at about 16K counting purchase and mods. I am still paying the remnants of that off, and am now looking at another 4 K ish by year end. Being too far in the hole really ticks me off, but since a B5 S4 is one minor aspiration i've had for a while, I don't see failure as an option. I've spent 34K on a vehicle I totalled a year and a half later, so I guess I view this as a less hopeless cause. Besides, the S4 is SOOO much more than a 01.5 Passat 4Motion (with every option) could ever be!

bumper to bumper warranty, with only one exclusion: everything in between the two.

Default it doesn't at all... if i were in a different situation I would keep the car...

but like i said, with a new baby and with fixigin and working on cars being like an addiction to me, this S4 was just bad timing

Default are you thinking the STI should out handle the STG2+ or vice versa? I honestly don't know - the STI

feels pretty stiff, even with the S4 on the H&R streets....
