just past the cats...I'm not sure how the S4 exhaust is routed, but my A6 has one

but i just dont see how or where it would be installed on these cars.

Default See attached picture. Not my car but another guy who installed a 2.5" system on his A6.

Default No need on a Turbo car, there is no benefit to run it after the turbo's
It's used for pulse tuning to pull the exhaust out. But once it goes through the turbo's it will not do anything, as the waves are messed up.
